Remember: Gale provides ready-made citations at the end of each information source that you can copy and paste into your bibliography.
Asia for Educators is a free educational resource from Columbia University. Its website is less intuitive than Gale, but it does have a site search, and it also organizes material by time period, region and topic.

World History Encyclopedia is a free nonprofit history resource. It contains biographies, articles, timelines, maps, images and videos covering civilizations around the world.

Best for: Finding an easy-to-understand overview of a person’s life, important events, accomplishments, and historical impact.
National Geographic Education has reliable, student-friendly articles, maps, images and other resources about world history, geography, cultures and civilizations. Use it along with Gale In Context: High School to fill in missing biographical details.
